About

Bromance Comics is an independent comics studio. We write and draw original male-romance graphic novels — stories about attraction between men that take their time, told with the pacing of a television drama rather than a gag strip.

Every title is built the same way: the season is outlined first, then each episode is written page by page, cast against a fixed set of character references so a face stays the same face on page 4 and on page 40, and only then drawn, lettered and approved. Nothing is published until every page of an episode is finished.

New episodes go to Patreon members first and are released in English, German, Spanish and French.

Archie Moretti

Season 1 — Italy

Ten years after he walked out of Italy, Archie is sent back to Milan for a one-year posting — and meets the same stranger twice in one evening.

Archie Moretti is thirty, an engineer, Italian with Georgian heritage, and back in a country he left at twenty without saying goodbye. His company moved him. The apartment belongs to somebody else. Everybody keeps telling him welcome home. Season one follows twelve months in Milan: a firm with a partner he should not be flirting with, a man from the gym who turns out to own the building, a mother who starts texting again after a decade, and the house he swore he would never walk back into.

The Masseur Diaries

Season 1

A massage therapist of eleven years keeps a diary of the clients who discover something on his table that they cannot say out loud.

Adrian reads bodies for a living. Each episode is a single appointment, in one room, in real time — nothing improper happens, and that restraint is the engine. What the client works out about himself in ninety minutes, and the one line Adrian writes down afterwards, is the whole story.

    Client #128

A married man books a ninety-minute massage for his lower back, and leaves twelve minutes early having rebooked for a reason he cannot say out loud.

How an episode is made

Consistency is the whole craft in a serialised comic: the same face, the same room, the same season, forty pages later.

01

Written first

Season outline, then episode, then page — every beat placed before a single panel is drawn.

02

Cast, then drawn

Each character is locked to an approved reference sheet, so a face stays the same face across an entire season.

03

Approved page by page

Art, balloons and translations are reviewed one page at a time. An episode ships only when all of it is finished.

From the pages

Panels from Archie Moretti, Season 1 — drawn in the series' warm, painted style.
